Welcome to Holistic Support Services, a specialist care provider for Children, Young People, where daily living experiences and activities are meaningful and memorable, designed to meet the needs of each individual. HSS is a fully inclusive service, with staff knowledgeable in all areas of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including, Mental Health and behaviours that can challenge.
We pride ourselves in learning opportunities for our staff members to further increase their knowledge in supporting all individuals whom they work with.
We believe in providing quality, bespoke care and support packages to those most vulnerable within our society, and our passionate staff team go above and beyond on a daily basis to ensure the needs of the individual are delivered in a holistic, person-centred way.
Our staff have specialist knowledge in many areas and will prompt and encourage the development of each individuals’ independence skills, in a variety of settings.
At HSS, we believe that anyone in need of support or care, should have their needs met whilst affording the individual the upmost dignity. Ensuring the individual always remains at the heart of any decision regarding their own support, we work hard to ensure they are included and are able to communicate their wishes when it comes to their own needs.
We respect the rights, wishes and feelings of the individual in all aspects of their support needs and believe that empowerment is vital in helping them to develop their independence and manage their needs appropriately, as well as maintaining or developing ties and access to the community.
Any individual receiving care or support from HSS, will always be offered choices, in order for us to provide bespoke, tailormade care during their time with us, and our staff and management always endeavour to build a positive rapport with the individual, which is built upon trust; trust that no matter the circumstance, HSS will always strive to ensure all needs are met, and that time spent in our service is enjoyable, comfortable and nurturing.
The management team at HSS are diverse in their experience, and all offer many years of workplace learning, development and experience in the childrens residential. Our children’s residential managers have an excellent reputation in the development and progress of complex children who have challenged services previously.
Our children’s services aim to provide a safe, warm and nurturing environment with a high standard of care and accommodation for children and young people to develop their own sense of autonomy and self-expression.
We aim to support all our young people to reach their full potential in all areas of their lives.
