As of recent we’re now also working in collaboration with BERRI.
BERRI is a clinical evaluation tool for identifying, tracking and improving the outcomes of children with complex needs, based around a questionnaire covering mental health, behaviour, emotional wellbeing, relationships, risk, neurodevelopmental needs and attachment.
It was developed by Dr Miriam Silver, a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and expert clinician with extensive experience of working with children in care and those with complex needs. The BERRI system produces graphs and tables to measure children’s progress over time, and reports which provide comparisons to norms of over 2,500 children in residential care, an individualised interpretation of the individual child’s psychological needs, and strategies to meet those needs.
The system increases insight for carers, allowing them to make a greater impact on the child’s functioning and wellbeing.
